Bernard Hedges
A good feature on Bernard Hedges. There haven't been too many sporting legends to come out of Rhydyfelin, so hopefully there will be a decent crowd for the launch of the Bernard Hedges biography at the club. As a Ponty Rugby & Glamorgan Cricket fanatic, as well as being a resident of Rhydyfelin, I've bagged my ticket already. St David's press has a good track record with sporting biographies - recent titles include bio's of Brian Flynn, Malcolm Nash, Phil Steele and Spike Watkins.

Bernard was a fine opening bat and a gentleman.
I believe Tommy David will also be attending so a combined rugby and cricket evening.
